Welcome to GeekGolfPortland!

This page is for organizing events in and around Portland, Oregon.

Our first event will be on Saturday, April 21st 2007. We'll be playing 17 holes at the McMenamins' Edgefield Pub Course, about 20 minutes outside of the Portland city center (details and a map below). The course is a par 3 course, which means that the holes are only 40 to 80 yards long. Great for beginners, and still quite a bit of fun for those who've played before.

And for everyone else, there's beer.

When Is It?

Saturday, April 21st @ 1:00 PM!

What Do I Bring?

McMenamins rents clubs (and beer), so all you need to bring is you and funding. No apparel requirements, although you're welcome to get creative.

If you have a spare 9 iron, pitching wedge, putter, or golf balls, bring 'em with you and we'll save someone some money.

Playing the full 17 holes is $13, and I don't know what the rental fees are. $5?

Who's The Organizer?

(aka, who do I call if I have questions or get lost?)

Peat Bakke - peat@peat.org - (503) 701-4135.
