Welcome to GeekGolf!

GeekGolf is an event for geeks of various stripes to get together and whack golf balls and drink beer for a few hours.  No experience is required!  Our goal is to make this a fun way to get away from the computer for a bit, and meet interesting people in the process.

GeekGolfPortland is our first event on Saturday, April 21st 2007.  We'll be playing 17 holes at the McMenamin's Edgefield Pub Course, about 20 minutes outside of the Portland city center (details and a map on the page).  It's a par 3 course, which means that the holes are only 40 to 80 yards long.  Great for beginners, and still quite a bit of fun for those who've played before.

And for everyone else, there's beer.
